(Video) BFBC2 Arica Harbour Defenders 3/3

Something I just noticed while watching this back is that BigPresh (Silent Dave) was actually in this game as well – on our team but in another squad. Although thinking again, I reckon I realised this at the time as well and even attempted to warn him later on in the game when an enemy Medic dropped down behind him only to realise that he couldn’t hear me as he was in another squad. I got the revenge kill though.

On this base I was in fun mode, going for defib kills and being a general pain in the ass for most of the time. When you’re on defense, as long as the M-Coms are safe you can afford to throw your K/D out the window and John Rambo it for a while.

Unfortunately the PVR froze up mid way through this base, and just before I got my second defib kill! We did win the match as they ran out of tickets and our team was actually amazing at defending and disarming the M-Coms. The match was played a couple of days after the Ogga Ug patch came out, but I still managed to use the Carl G against infantry with no problems when they were down to about 3 tickets left. A nice juicy rocket kill was close to being the final kill.

It was a fantastic game and I’m looking to getting many more.

(Video) BFBC2 Arica Harbour Defenders 2/3

This is part two of the three. In this video we almost hold them off, but unfortunately Bravo is destroyed by Destruction 2.0. You also get to see me get killed twice after being weakened from falling damage as I can never get the bloody parachute to open properly.

StoneFaceLock’s strategy guide for this map helped me out with the placement of mines. Prior to this game I had been pretty much a Carl-G whore, but with the mines you don’t have to stay alive for them to work. The only thing you have to do is remember how many you have out as you can only have six active at any one time. If you put down a seventh, then the first one you put down disappears. By running the explosives upgrade specialisation I got to carry six – normally it’s three (I think).

Not really much else to say – banana bullets, shot in the back, fall damage, boomerang grenades…. they’re all in there. Oh, and I don’t know why Alpha wasn’t defused….

(Video) BFBC2 Arica Harbour Part 1/3

Donncha, Mike and I attempt to hold off the enemy horde on Arica Harbour in this three part video. In part one here Mike and I take control of a tank and attempt to stop the enemy from proceeding in to the base. Although we succeed in doing that the base is ultimately destroyed because of a miscommunication on our squad and a complete lack of interest from the rest of the team.
